MAILED March 27, 2009 - Samples from a 'ryderdude760' auction (above) were sent to New England Meteoritical Services for meteorite verification. NEMS replied:
March 30, 2009

"Thank you for sending the samples for us to examine. Sample A and B while labeled "Lynx Wash" is not meteoritical in origin. It is terrestrial"

"I am not familiar with any publishings about Lynx Wash within the Meteoritical Society so I can add little to the existence of this locality if it exits. However the specimens you have sent are not meteoritical..."

"Sorry that the material was not meteoritical..."
